The Secret of Kells

The Secret of Kells is an Irish-French-Belgian animation feature film that was nominated for the Oscar as Best Animation Feature in 2010. The film is a magical journey set in medieval Ireland and follows Brendan’s story, a young apprentice monk at the Abbey of
Kells. Set against the looming danger of Viking invasions, he embarks on a quest to help complete an illuminated manuscript, a task that leads him to uncover ancient secrets and fight dark forces.
